Due to the
popularity of IslamiCity in Cyberspace as a site and the Ask
the Imam section as one of the features of the site, our volunteer
Imams are literally overwhelmed with hundreds of questions a day.
So far, they
have answered more than 5,000
publicly posted
questions/answers and
8,500
private/adult/confidential requests. Since the number is increasing, the
management of IslamiCity decided to slow down the service for few months until it
can generate a special fund to support, on an on-going basis, the increasing
requests with full-time, qualified, and trusted scholars. Since we also care
about the quality of our answers, we wanted to pick the best scholars around
and also compensate them fairly.

answer it as soon as possible. Our current rate of answering questions is
about 95%. We would like to reach the 100% soon.
