English (Yusuf Ali): (Recite)
4:43 O ye who believe! Approach not prayers with a mind befogged, until ye can understand all that ye say,- nor in a state of ceremonial impurity (Except when travelling on the road), until after washing your whole body. If ye are ill, or on a journey, or one of you cometh from offices of nature, or ye have been in contact with women, and ye find no water, then take for yourselves clean sand or earth, and rub therewith your faces and hands. For Allah doth blot out sins and forgive again and again. Turkish:
4:43 Ey iman edenler, sarhos iken, ne dediginizi bilinceye ve cünüp iken de -yolculukta olmaniz hariç- gusül edinceye kadar namaza yaklasmayin. Eger hasta veya yolculukta iseniz ya da biriniz ayak yolundan (hacet yerinden) gelmisseniz yahud kadinlara dokunmus da su bulamamissaniz, bu durumda, temiz bir toprakla teyemmüm edin, (hafifçe) yüzlerinize ve ellerinize sürün. Süphesiz, Allah, bagislayandir, esirgeyendir.
French:
4:43 O les croyants! N'approchez pas de la Salat alors que vous êtes ivres, jusqu'à ce que vous compreniez ce que vous dites, et aussi quand vous êtes en état d'impureté [pollués] - à moins que vous ne soyez en voyage - jusqu'à ce que vous ayez pris un bain rituel. Si vous êtes malades ou en voyage, ou si l'un de vous revient du lieu où il a fait ses besoins, ou si vous avez touché à des femmes et vous ne trouviez pas d'eau, alors recourez à une terre pure, et passez-vous-en sur vos visages et sur vos mains. Allah, en vérité est Indulgent et Pardonneur.
German:
4:43 O die ihr glaubt, nahet nicht dem Gebet, wenn ihr nicht bei Sinnen seid, bis ihr versteht, was ihr sprecht, noch im Zustande der Unreinheit - ausgenommen als Reisende unterwegs -, bis ihr gebadet habt. Und wenn ihr krank seid oder auf einer Reise (im Zustande der Unreinheit), oder einer von euch kommt vom Abtritt und wenn ihr Frauen berührt habt und findet kein Wasser, dann nehmt reinen Sand und reibt euch damit Gesicht und Hände. Wahrlich, Allah ist nachsichtig, allverzeihend.
Spanish:
4:43 ¡Creyentes! No os acerquéis ebrios a la azalá. Esperad a que estéis en condiciones de saber lo que decís. No vayáis impuros -a no ser que estéis de viaje- hasta que os hayáis lavado. Y si estáis enfermos o de viaje, si viene uno de vosotros de hacer sus necesidades, o habéis tenido contacto con mujeres y no encontráis agua, recurrid a arena limpia y pasadla por el rostro y por las manos. Alá es perdonador, indulgente.
