| The Islamic Society of Central Florida (ISCF) is a nonprofit, religious organization aimed at serving the Muslim Community in the greater Orlando area. ISCF was founded in the early 1970s by a group of Muslim students and families coming together to perform Jum'uah prayers. As the number of Muslims increased, land to build a Masjid was purchased. First, prayers were held in a small house built on the property, then the present Masjid was built in the mid 1980's. Today the Masjid is getting full and plans for expansion have been prepared.
