Bismillah,

Listening to NPR yesterday, I heard a woman in front of congress quoting a letter from a Lebanese woman to her American friend who had lived in Lebanon five years as a journalist.

Her thoughts were beautiful, heart-felt, and so very sad.  Here is a main idea she spoke of. 

She has listened to the years of debate and discussion in the media and the American congress.  She has heard the empty rhetoric of our politicians.  But now that the bombs are again devastating her home she is telling us that she no longer has faith in us anymore.  She has no faith that our politicians are listening to those of us that care. 

She knows that our war machine will not stop, and the words do not matter to her.  It's the endless bombs rainging down on her and her family and her countrymen that speak louder than any words can.
