Assalamu alaikum.

We discussed the issue of Khalifate as a Trust from Allah. Khalifate is embedded in the Pillar of Iman and the First Pillar of Islam. My Ijtihad concurred with those of earlier Muslim Scholars that a Muslim Umma that failed to establish the Khalifate has shaken off its hand from Islam. Is it permissible in Islam according to the Sunna of Allah and that of His Holy Apostle to separate State from the Mosque? I mean has Ahmadinejad ever lead any of the five daily prayers, the two Ids and friday prayers? Under what condition according to the Sunna of the Holy Apostle can the Umma be engaged in the selection of the Khalifa? Could it be possible for the Muslim  to elect its leader not according to:
1) Electing a Khalifa according to the Ishara (beckoning) of the out-going Khalifa. Like the case of Abubakar.
2) Nomination by the out-going Khalifa of a Khalifa for the Umma who are unrelated by birth? Like the case of Umar bin Khattab.
3) Nominating a Majlis Shura by the out-going Khalifa to elect a Khalifa for the Umma from a group of Scholars/ Mujtahids? Like the election of Usman bin Affan. Are the Iraninans saying that  Ahmadinejad is the most knowledgable in the Sunna of the Holy Apostle among all the Iraninan clerics?
Has the civilization attained by the Muslim Umma today surpasssed the demand of the Sunna of the Holy Apostle in appointing a Khalifa?

salaam
good post,it's been along time coming. as all who routinely gather here no i'm new to the faith. some may not like me commenting on the subject of internal affairs for that reason. but i'm in the house now and i have a voice! so please forgive me any lack of knowledge. if i offend with my veiws on this topic tough, get over it!
Iran is the most UN-ISLAMIC goverment on this planet! the idiology of it's goverment goes directly agianst what i've learnd from the Qu'ran.
things like DO NOT OPPRESS, NO ONE SHALL HARM AN INOCENT, WOMEN ARE EQUAL TO MEN, RIGHTS OF OTHER FAITHS RESPECTED AND I COULD GO ON AND ON.
the saddest thing is i here nothing NOTHING! from other islamic countries. Iran seens to be like the family member nobody cares for but never speak agianst because thier "IN THE FAMILY" .....BULLCRAP!!!
all who remain silent are guilty. all who look the other way are complacent  INDONISIA TO MORROCO, YEMEN TO TURKEY AND BEYOND. THE SHAME IS SHAIRED!
on the day of judgement all the above will have to look into a face. a bright face full of light, full of love, one thats full of truth and faith. a face so lovely thier heads shall turn in thier shame.
her name is NEDA and she bares our iniquities.

Brothers
Usalaamoalykum:
Let's be clear in our understanding that Iran is a Shiit nation that has no love for the Caliphate type of administration for running the country! Till the Muslims are free from the yoke of neo colonial slavery and have the strength of free nations the Khalifa type of governing system is a far fetched dream! Just imagine Afghanistan tried that and they are under attack for last decade and the struggle is on going...

Assalamu'alaikum.

Iam just reading about the famous battle of the confederates or Ahzab written by Dr. Muhammad Abdulqadir Abu Faris. Brothers! Read this interesting analysis for we shall come to conclusion that we are not followers of Muhammad Rasulullah!. No Khalifate! No force can ever vanquish the TRUE followers of Muhammad Rasulullah. In one of his comments he said, "Al-Islam does not allow injustice and does not allow his followers to practice or even think of it". Abu Huraira witnessing the conquests of the Muslim Umma during the Khalifate of Umar and Usman said, "Conquer  whatever land you wish to conquer. I swear by Allah, no land or territory will you conquer or any follower of Muhammad but that the key of that land or territory was already in the hands of Muhammad Rasulullah".  But Allah says, "My Promise is not within the reach of the oppressors". So how can any Muslim Umma win a battle against the West? The West knew of this. I believe they understood Islam. They never claimed to be fighting Islam but only oppressors. Let us reflect deeply!
