Subject: ALL humans start out as female.
Date Posted: 07 September 2008 at 5:28pm
Science had proven that ALL humans (all mammals) start out in the womb as female. Zygotes are the early developing human being. they are all female. Males develope later on for sexual purposes ONLY. Males are an offshoot of females. Females are the SUPERIOR gender, and the basis for all human life.
Question : If this is false, then WHY do MEN have nipples? Answer : This is a residual from their start as a female.
Prove me wrong, or admit  that it is true.

StarWish what is your IQ?

From what I read you neither have any knowledge on science nor biology. As far as your presentation there are two things I want to say: 1) Your post is misleading scientifically and

2) Even if you were right that doesn't mean females are superior. If you look at the social standing women are still at the bottom of the totem pole FYI.

As far as your misleading statement:

"Zygotes are the early developing human being. they are all female."

Zygotes contain the sexual characteristics from both parents (Y for females, and X and Y from males). There is no predominant sexual charatceristic in the zygote as I said earlier sexual determination is based upon whether there is XX(boy) or XY(girl).  For the first seven weeks the fetus is undifferentiated and the only examination of the chromosomes indicate the sex. Sexual charatceristics begins when the adrogens begin to act upon the fetus (This shows sex characteristics) which shows the sexual distinction between males and females.
As some research has indicated fetus' with one 'X' chromosome ( and no hormonal triggering dveelope the external feminine charatceristics. But of course this is one way of looking at it.

And now to answer your nipple question.....

Nipples on un-nursing males are byproducts of evolution. In embryonic development  men and women have similar tissues and body parts.  That is why nipples are present in both sexes. It is the effect of the genes, the Y chromosome and the testorsterone hormones that brings about the changes in the embryo. Testosterone promotes the growth of the penis and testicles. Nipples and breast tissues in men have no function except protecting the heart and lung from injuries.

Now that I've proven you wrong can you please do us the favor of not posting inaccurate scientific information?

Israfil you have written xx chromosome for boy and xy for the girl. Is that right? I have no idea of these things. I am an engineer, not a scientist. Please reply. From whom will come the xx chromosome?

Minuteman,
chromosomes are basically long stringy aggregates that carry heredity genetic information. These chromosomes basically carry genetic information which determines everything from hair and eye color to sex. Sex determination depends on whether there is a presence or absence of a certain chromosome.

Minuteman, these sex chromosomes are either X or Y, and these chromosomes determine gender. In just a brief explanation on this minuteman in human sexual reproduction two distinct gametes fuse into a zygote. The male gametes or sperm cells in humans and other mammals are heterogametic and contain one of two types of sex chromosomes. They are either X or Y. The female gametes or eggs however, contain only the X sex chromosome and are homogametic. The sperm cell determines the sex of an individual in this case. If a sperm cell containing an X chromosome fertilizes an egg, the resulting zygote will be XX or female. If the sperm cell contains a Y chromosome, then the resulting zygote will be XY or male.

" Even if you were right "

I am in communication with a scientist who is gathering the data for me at present.. How can you say "Even if you were right", and then call me wrong? This clearly means that you are unsure. I stated that the male chromosome turns on a little later during development. That means that the "Y" chromosome does not turn on until after the cells are more sophisticated.  Before this, they are female, as the "X" chromosome is 3 to 1( XX/XY), over the "Y" in a male.
There is also a controversy over the posibility that the male "Y" chromosome is disintegrating. The scientific comunity is saying that the male side of the human species may become extinct in the future. The female gender will remain, but will only be able to reproduce female children. They are saying that the male "Y" chromosome is not as strong as the female "X" chromosome . Females can continue, and thrive without males. But, males cannot without females.  Females have two "XX" chromosomes, maled have "XY". This shows that females don't need the male chromosome in order to fully develope. But, the male with his "XY" chromosomes, clearly is half female, and needs the female chromosome in order to develope. HOW can this make the female INFERIOR to the male? The male is fully 50% defined by the "X" chromosome.
(Just a mention to all those men who don't know - it is the male who determines the gender (sex) of a child. The male contributes either his "X or Y" chromosome to the woman's egg. He, not the woman makes either a boy or a girl. It is NOT the woman's fault if you didn't get the boy (or girl) that you wanted. It is YOUR sperm that decides. The woman has NOTHING to do with it, men have the deciding chromosomes. So, stop blaming the woman - YOU did it.)

I said "even if you were right" to clear any possibility of truth. You are not right therefore, I mentioned "even if you were" how you conveyed your information wa sinaccurate. Also, a "real scientist or researcher" will not come to a discussion empty handed nor would state "a scientist is gathering research for me." If you are a true researcher you gather the information yourself or with others who are collecting data. I am a researcher and I do not believe you or believe you have accurate information.

You sound deranged. I mentioned all of this in my previous post or did you just read over it. Go somewhere else. You bring shame to science.

I believe I have read this in Bryan Syke book with title Adam's Curse which stated that the scientific analysis has found out that the male sperm condition deteriorate by each generation. But his earlier The Seven daughters of Eve was even more interesting.

Is it possible that the story miracle birth as warning to men? The lesson is what men need to do to avoid total extinction, I think.

I don't feel like I'm at the bottom of the social status system, Israfil.  I feel equal to every other human being.  I DO NOT feel superior, just equal, because that's how God created us.  If some people look at me and think "inferior", well that's their problem.  I refuse to allow anyone make me think less of myself.

As far as StarWish goes.....why would women want to survive without men?  What is your problem with men?  I can guarantee you that women won't survive for long without men.  No siree!  Not enough women would have your mindset to want all men done away with, so that lesbians could be artificially impregnated from frozen sperm....and eventually even that storage would be depleted.  I am assuming your friend (the scientist) is a female too.

You're such a frikin ignorant!

The mother has XX, and passes one of them on to her oocyte (egg cells). In this case it's a 100% sure it's gonna be a X.
The father has XY, and he too passes one of them on to his spermatocyte... Here it's 50/50 whether the spermatocyte will contain an X or Y (meaning that males decide the sex of their offspring).

The 1 (SINGLE) X from the oocyte then splices with the X or Y from the spermatocyte to create the zygote... Now the Zygote will either be male or female, even though they will undergo exactly the same procedures for the first few weeks. But the sex of the fetus was decided even before the spermatocyte entered the oocyte - it was destiny, you might say.

Now even though this doesn't explain nipples... Well nipples are "created" long after the first few different changes between male and female fetuses begin, so there's really no explanation for their being present, other then they are a useless relic from the obsolete females.

And no, humans probably WON'T develop BACK into 1 sex... Actually more likely to develop into MORE sexes (1 species of fungi has over 200 sexes, now THAT'S what I call a tough dating scene ^^)
Now, one of the reasons for deteriorating sperm quality in men, is our worsened enviroments... Even seat heating in your car is "killing your troopers".

Now back to you StarWish... If you EVER speak on a biological matter without doing research first (NO! Asking 1 friend does NOT count - If he's a moron then you become one too!)
- else I'm gonna have to beat you down with a old peanut cracker

LOL although I am a male, I am going to give a bimbo comeback to a bimbo thread starting statement.

They turn into males...this is an upgrade to their original sex. This is such an upgrade that they stay like this for their whole life.

This is such a silly thread.

A few weeks after fertilization, the initial appearance of the human fetal genitalia is basically feminine: a pair of "urogenital folds" with a small protuberance in the middle, and the urethra behind the protuberance.

In typical fetal development, the presence of the SRY gene causes the fetal gonads to become testes; the absence of it allows the gonads to continue to develop into ovaries. Thereafter, the development of the internal reproductive organs and the external genitalia is determined by hormones produced by fetal gonads (ovaries or testes) and the cells' response to them.

If the fetus has testes, and if the testes produce testosterone, and if the cells of the genitals respond to the testosterone, the outer urogenital folds swell and fuse in the midline to produce the scrotum; the protuberance grows larger and straighter to form the penis; the inner urogenital swellings swell, wrap around the penis, and fuse in the midline to form the penile urethra.

If testosterone is not present, normal female development continues, with the development of a perineal urethra and the formation of a uterus, clitoris and vagina.

The Müllerian ducts, which are paired ducts of the embryo which empty into the cloaca, and which develop into the upper vagina, cervix, uterus and oviducts; in the male they disappear except for the vestigial vagina masculina and the appendix testis.

Because of their common origin in fetal anatomy, a number of male and female anatomical features are said to be homologous; for example, the clitoris and penis are homologous with one another, as are Skene's glands in females and the prostate gland in males.

Most of the time, the result of fetal genital development follows the stereotypical male or stereotypical female development path. However, in a small but significant minority of cases, the path of development follows an intermediate or other pathway, leading to what are called "ambiguous genitalia", one condition of those known as intersexuality.

So actually, the OP was correct -- he or she, wasn not st**id at all. However, the whole bit about one sex being "superior" to another is more than a bit childish. Take StarWish624 to task for that, but keep the rest!

After conception for quite a while all embryos look the same. For boys at some point genes from the Y chromosomes start expressing themselves. Eventually hormones take a leading role shaping the differences between male and female embryos. This process continues after birth and some changes happen during puberty. But keep in mind, men and women are not that different. 45 out of 46 chromosomes are the same. Even the differences in our brains are minor. Weight of the brain correlates with body height and we all know that small men are equally intelligent as tall men. Or women.

It's interesting to know that we all get mitochondrial DNA from our mothers only. So we could think of them as female powerhouses inside every cell of our body. But all of this has nothing do to who is better or smarter or whatever. There are certain differences between men and women, but the combination made us quite successful as a species. Otherwise there would not be 6.8 billion people on Earth.
