Watch this video :

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3429160029331743094&q=Sunni+Iranian+scholar+UNCOVERS&total=1&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=0 - http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3429160029331743094 &q=Sunni+Iranian+scholar+UNCOVERS&total=1&start= 0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=0

This Iranian Sunni scholar says EXACTLY the same things that I have been saying on this Forum (hmmm, maybe he's been reading my posts! or maybe he has discovered the truth from his own experience as he too is Iranian and Sunni like me).

Anyway watch the video it's very interesting, it's practically identical to my posts!!!

Sawtul, I can't believe you just posted something with subtitles by MEMRI
TV!

Quote:
Evidence from Memri's website also casts doubt on its non-partisan
status. Besides supporting liberal democracy, civil society, and the free
market, the institute also emphasises "the continuing relevance of
Zionism to the Jewish people and to the state of Israel".

That is what its website used to say, but the words about Zionism have
now been deleted. The original page, however, can still be found in
internet archives.

The reason for Memri's air of secrecy becomes clearer when we look at
the people behind it. The co-founder and president of Memri, and the
registered owner of its website, is an Israeli called Yigal Carmon.

Mr - or rather, Colonel - Carmon spent 22 years in Israeli military
intelligence and later served as counter-terrorism adviser to two Israeli
prime ministers, Yitzhak Shamir and Yitzhak Rabin.

Retrieving another now-deleted page from the archives of Memri's
website also throws up a list of its staff. Of the six people named, three -
including Col Carmon - are described as having worked for Israeli
intelligence.

Among the other three, one served in the Israeli army's Northern
Command Ordnance Corps, one has an academic background, and the
sixth is a former stand-up comedian.

Col Carmon's co-founder at Memri is Meyrav Wurmser, who is also
director of the centre for Middle East policy at the Indianapolis-based
Hudson Institute, which bills itself as "America's premier source of
applied research on enduring policy challenges".

The ubiquitous Richard Perle, chairman of the Pentagon's defence policy
board, recently joined Hudson's board of trustees.

What's your point? The program is from an Arabic channel and the the scholar is a Sunni Iranian and the interviewer is an Arab. Just because Memri translated it doesnt make it Israeli, Memri also translates programs from Iranian TV and speeches of Khamenehi leader of Iran as well as Shiah leader Hasan Nasrollah and Saudis and Sunni leaders and al-Qaeda leaders etc.

Memri also translates a lot of anti-Israel and anti-Jewish material for specific reasons. So Memri translating the video doesn't mean anything.

Here you go, the Shiah Hasan Nasrollah leader of "Hezbollah" on Memri TV:

The point is, Sawtul, you knucklehead, that MEMRI are up tp their eyeballs
twisting the words of Arabs to fit the Washington/israeli script. I have no
way of knowing whether what this scholar was saying was being
accurately translated in the subtitles.

But I do know that MEMRI TV make it a point to translate and show
interviews showing Arabs and Muslims generally in a bad light. Just as I
know you're purpose here is to cause division and strife.

Judging from the expression of the interviewer's face, I'd have to say this
speaker was probably making a lot of questionable statements which
even the interviewer had a hard time swallowing.

You have absolutely no grasp of the psy-ops and psycho-political
maneuvers these people specialise in, of course they will translate anti-
Israeli material, you fool, they are supposed to look fair and well
balanced, not the blatant Zionist anti-Muslim Arab haters they really are!

Since MEMRI was founded and is largely run by ex-MOSSAD, I will not be
able to take anything they translate seriously.

So you shouldnt take Iran and Hezbollah seriously either.

And what is your point, are you saying that the video is mistranslated? I assure you it's not and Memri very often upload what they call "Muslim conspiracy theories" because they want Muslims to look "paranoid" and of course for someone who doesn't know the facts the video of this Sunni Iranian appears that way, but when you know the facts (and you would if you, for example read my posts) then it makes perfect sense and you would know what he is talking about.

This is why it doesn't show the full interview.

Sawtul Khilafah:

After experiencing the Shias' corrosive friendships, you don't need to convince me how their mind works -secrecy and dissimulation!

This should not be part of the Muslims character but sadly it is becoming an accepted trait and now we call it smart politics!

I was really ticked after hearing about the  shrine of Abu lulu in Iran and celebration of the assassination of Umar(R). It is what I would call crossing the line and there is no need to prove that what kind of Muslims Iranian shia rulers really are! It is quite obvious!

I am flabbergasted  at the mentality of the shias in this day and age that they still want to continue this hateful practice knowing fully well that in no uncertain terms that regiular Muslim will not put up with this nonsense! It is a historical fact  that after the Prophet (s) Umar was the greatest caliph to establish the foundations of the Islamic world, rise and fall of the later dynasties notwithstanding!

And the Prophet(s) saying that if God had wanted to continue the prophesy the next candidate would have been Umar(r)!

The video I posted is from a youtube user called OmaralFarsi who keeps posting stuff about Shias, in this case he posted a memri video because it had English subtitles, but in any case memri has hundreds of videos of Shias too so if you think Memri supports every video on that they translate then you will come to the same conclusion that they support Shia leaders like Hasan Nasrollah and the Iranian Government.

Yeah it's funny how so many Sunnis are tricked into thinking that Iran is fooling the West!

I mean seriously, do people think that they know that Iran is fooling Western Governments but the Western Governments and their intelligence agencies dont!!!!????

My friend, either you are just absolutely goners or you are one of the smartest moles we have ever had on our site. Are you seriously trying to tell us that you don't know MEMRI role?

I already explained why I think Memri had this on their site:

Memri very often upload what they call "Muslim conspiracy theories" because they want Muslims to look "paranoid" and of course for someone who doesn't know the facts the video of this Sunni Iranian appears that way, but when you know the facts (and you would if you, for example read my posts) then it makes perfect sense and you would know what he is talking about.

This is why it doesn't show the full interview.

Also if you think everything on Memri is Israeli propaganda, then you should know that they also have videos of Shia leaders like the leader and president of Iran and Hasan Nasrollah leader of "hezbollah" and Taliban and Saudis and many many many many other people.

They may be trying to USE something for propaganda purpose, but that doesn't mean they have made it.

For example on Memri they even have videos of Muslims saying 9/11 was a conspiracy. So you might ask what is their purpose and why they post this. Well because they think that such videos makes Muslims look "paranoid", it doesn't matter if it's true or not to them.

Also if you show someone a few excerpts of a video of a Sunni accusing Iran of working with Israel, then most viewers would think that the Sunni man is a "paranoid conspiracy theorist" - as I said, that is why they dont show the whole video and only show a few parts of it.

But the reason I posted it here is that I have already explained the stuff about Iran and Israel, so it didnt matter that the video wasnt complete and I just posted it to prove that there are others who have done their own research and have come to the same conclusions that I have.

What all of us are trying to tell you is that:

Most, if not all, of MEMRI translations are mistranslations.

Do you understand that or is it just one of your kertebs like claiming to be an Afghan one day and Italian the next?

Well done, Sawtul you're almost there ......

You yourself have just pointed out the technique, one you are totally
enslaved to: plant members of the organisation on BOTH sides of the
argument, creating confusion and disorientation (which, by the way, is
what your circular arguments do to most people on this forum) so it is
possible to argue MEMRI are exactly what they claim to be (an
independent service) but also possible to argue they are what they really
are: Israeli/Zionist agents working to confuse and disorient the public as
to the Muslim ummah. This is especially easy in your case (and it appears
SR's) where pre-existing sectarian ideology causes friction.

You are exceedingly naive and have lost credibility by arguing IN FAVOUR
of a well established Israeli/Zionist agenda organisation, MEMRI.

Why not just post the editorial from Haaretz, or Richard Perle's pearls?

I would suggest. you should find some suitable avtar for yourself, like the eye on the dollar, the devils horns or something similar.

You are abusing this avtar, I am back in good old Spain (though you will be shocked to see my location changed to UK, as I will be there next week just for the week!!) and I am going to deal with you like those lawyers and the civil community is now dealing with the other International liar, Pervez Musharraf.

Lots of guys have disappeared in last couple years.
This site looks like a ghost town!
Of course the Iranian Revolution was bad experiment with Mullahs by guys in Langley around the Shah's white revolution time frame.  Simply put the Shah was getting too cocky for the Americans with rising revenues post oil embargo of six days war. The cia tried a half ass backward approach instigating an uprising that got out of hand not unlike the Neocons' screw up with Iraqis. Does anyone doubt about the shiias in Washington role play?
Have you kept track of the events in Iraq?
The Malki group has issued the arrest warrants for the Sunni VP who has gone in hiding and the chances of civil war are in the offing.
I think lot of things SK wrote have come true. e.g., what do say about the power and influence of Sadrites of Muqtada al-Sadr. What gives?
The Sunnis have been marginalized being in minority; in Syria being in majority. cuz they been terrified into submission being the vanquished people just being fat, dumb and happy. But lately Erdogan  ascendancy in Turkey they are waking up. Something good may happen after spilling of Sunnis blood at the hands of Alvites! inshallah

If an educated Muslim like you, talk ithis tone, I'm afraid that US and Israeli propaganda spread by millions of SW is being successful. US NEVER will fight Iran, they want in to be a Shia Sunni fight and people like you are giving into it... Very unfortunate....

Are the Saudis Sunnis??

And first of all tell me... If a mormen can come in power of USA, if a Barak Obama can be US president.. Anyone should be able to come as president in a democracy... Well Syria isn't a perfect democracy...and u have all the right to ask for a reform... How can u even bring up a logic like... Sunni majority being ruled by .. Bla bla.....?? U are my friend giving into US and SW propaganda.... Ask for a reform for democratic reason... Not for shia Sunni reason..... Unfortunate....

Leave all these Shia Sunni business's and go back to Quran and that's the best way to follow Muhammad.... Because he followed the Quran.... Pl give up all other falsehoods....u will see the way..

If we are going to have a discussion or debate in politics section let's be honest with house rule i.e., check the political correctness at the door and stick with factual evidence only.

I say is based upon what I have personally experienced spanning over close to major part of a century. So Israeli American propaganda has no meaning per se so far I am concerned. You lost me on SW!  Anyone elected to domicile in the west under the control of the western financial system has no room to argue about propaganda. Do I need to shed more light on it?

US NEVER will fight Iran,

So you are convinced about what Sawtul Khilafa wrote! They will support a non sunni or ignore their atrocities for as long as possible.
It was the Sunni Realm the Anglo American power demolished with defeat of the Ottomans and created the Saudi neocolony with a knowledge that the area was going to be the major oil source for the Detroit Motor company and supply line for the wars. It is called long term planning!

they want in to be a Shia Sunni fight and people like you are giving into it... Very unfortunate....

It has been unfortunate record for millennium and a half. The west has taken the  advantage of the a built in flaw!  If you don't see what I see that is OK.
Have you read the Arabian / Ottoman History? Would you blame Halago khan for the destruction of Abbasids and massacre of the so called Muslims?

Are the Saudis Sunnis??

The Saudis are Saudis...If you know something about East India company and the Nawabs of India then you wouldn't ask such questions!

And first of all tell me... If a mormen can come in power of USA, if a Barak Obama can be US president.. Anyone should be able to come as president in a democracy...
Not really. The corporate and bankers will see who performs well for their money.People take sides for self interest afterward! It is an orchestrated show.

Well Syria isn't a perfect democracy...and u have all the right to ask for a reform...

LOL

How can u even bring up a logic like... Sunni majority being ruled by .. Bla bla.....?? U are my friend giving into US and SW propaganda.... Ask for a reform for democratic reason... Not for shia Sunni reason..... Unfortunate....

Democracy in Arab populated world? Are you kidding? see what is happening in Egypt and Iraq and Syria right now nothing but savagery! You need to get the blinders off to see these people who have some serious issues of character. The democracy is for the people who literate in true sense of the word not for the ignorant folks. My pointing to the Alwite Asads dictatorship is a fact that is not lost on the world.

Leave all these Shia Sunni business's and go back to Quran and that's the best way to follow Muhammad.... Because he followed the Quran.... Pl give up all other falsehoods....u will see the way..

The talk is cheap and that cheapens Quran and which brings the curse of God.

These people have been in bondage for so long that they are left with much.
