Apparently, or at least reportedly, the largely undeclared but raging war among competing clerics continues …

“… "Many Muslims have been fooled by the Shi'ites' claims to be championing Islam and challenging the Jews and Americans and Hezbollah's claims in Lebanon," the statement [by 22 Saudi (Sunni) clerics] distributed on Islamic websites said …”

          http://wiredispatch.com/news/?id=192964

That might be because, at the time, they (some of the fooled Muslims) read reports like this, from The Guardian:

“Israeli forces have been astonished at the discovery of networks of bunkers and computerized weapons in Hizbullah positions, according to officials.  Troops have found … bunkers 40 metres (125ft) below the ground and anti-tank weapons that originate in France, the US and Russia in southern Lebanon.  Many of the tactics and weapons employed by Hizbullah have neutralized Israel’s military superiority and made a complete victory difficult to achieve …”

We are told that McCain is the most anti-Iran candidate for the US presidency... but read this:

http://www.crooksandliars.com/2008/06/02/mccain-calls-for-iran-divestment-as-aides-ties-to-tehran-revealed/#more-29764

Addressing the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) today, Republican presidential nominee John McCain called for a global campaign of divestment from Iran. He might want to start with his own campaign manager, Rick Davis, whose work on behalf of Ukrainian mogul Rinat Akhmetov included business dealings with Tehran.

McCain used his wide-ranging address to target Iran for the kind of worldwide sanctions regime applied to apartheid-era South Africa. (Unsurprisingly, the self-proclaimed “foot soldier in the Reagan revolution” neglected to mention his hero’s opposition to South African divestment.) Monday morning, McCain declared:

“We should privatize the sanctions against Iran by launching a worldwide divestment campaign. As more people, businesses, pension funds, and financial institutions across the world divest from companies doing business with Iran, the radical elite who run that country will become even more unpopular than they are already.”

Sadly for McCain, that sweep would net his long-time adviser and campaign manager Rick Davis. As Talking Points Memo detailed just this past Friday, Davis’ extensive lobbying operation prominently features clients doing deals with the Iranian regime. At the same Davis was heading up John McCain’s so-called Reform Institute, his firm was representing the Ukrainian oligarch Akmetov and his businesses in Tehran:

Davis Manafort was helping Akhmetov’s conglomerate, System Capital Management Holdings, to develop a “corporate communications strategy” between the beginging of 2005 through the end of summer 2005, the company said. The company’s subsidiary, Metinvest, a steel company, has one of its 11 offices in Tehran. And another subsidiary, Khartsyzsk Pipe Plant, sells large pipes to Iran.

As of Friday, the McCain camp was pleading ignorance. According to TPM, “a McCain aide told us Davis did not work on that account while he was heading up the firm. And he was unaware of the company’s ties to Iran.”

As it turns out, John McCain is following Mitt Romney and Dick Cheney as just the latest hard-line Republican to run afoul of his own plans for Iranian disinvestment. But only John McCain is still in the running to be President of the United States. The only question now is whether he’ll obey his own call for action against organizations doing business with Iran and divest his own campaign manager

Israeli threats to Iran are 'bluff for now'

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The above article states that Israel is not really planning to invade Iran "for now" and that they are making threats just to scare Iran.

However what the article seems to ignore is the fact that Israel has not carried a SINGLE attack against Iran, and Iran has also NEVER attacked Israel.

So if you think about it, there is no reason to believe that there is any real enmity between Israel and Iran and there is nothing coming from either side except empty threats.

It is clear to me that these threats are to fool the Muslim Ummah and not to scare either side. Israel has been arming Iran since the beginning of the revolution and this is a proven fact.

The article also ignores the fact that Israel has been making such threats for nearly 30 years, so it's not as if these threats are a new thing.

This is very old news, Im mentioning it as evidence of what I wrote on my first post on this thread:

Ayatollah tells Shias to stop fighting
Ewen MacAskill in Washington
Friday April 4, 2003
The Guardian

The US-led force received a boost yesterday when the leading Shia Muslim cleric in Iraq called on Iraqis not to resist the Americans and British. Reversing an edict last year that Iraqis should fight for the homeland, Grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani told Shia Muslims they should not hinder the invasion force. He also called on Iraqis to stop fighting in and around the Shia holy shrine, the Tomb of Ali, at Najaf.

The US secretary of state for defence, Donald Rumsfeld, welcomed the ruling, describing the ayatollah as "courageous".

Well I've been saying this for years and there are finally some investigations going on it seems:

The above video is a CNN report that says the USA exports a lot of materials to Iran but then tries to make excuses...

The FUNNIEST part is the end of the video where it says that although the US is exporting goods to Iran, they are not actually giving them weapons and the reports that say they have are as a result of a "typo" and that it was mean to say Iraq rather than Iran!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hahahahahahahaahahahhaha, yeah right!

Have no doubt, Iran is an agent of the USA and Israel.

Moqtada al-Sadr tells Mahdi Army to swap guns for social work

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/iraq/article4488738.ece

See I told you all!!! Obama is winning the elections and Sadr is giving up...!!!

Remember I said either Obama will end the war in Iraq or Sadr, now we see Obama winning and Sadr quiting.

I even actually said from the start that the Sadr plan has FAILED and that they will go for a different plan, which is the Obama plan!

Now we see Sadr for who he really is, not only is he giving up, he is also telling his followers to give up their weapons and not fight the occupation!! In other words, he only wanted his followers to carry weapons so long as he could portray his group as the main resistance in Iraq, now that the plan has failed (due to strong Sunni resistance as I explained earlier) he says to his men not to fight at all.

So as you can see, Sadr does not even want the American military to be harmed as I always said! Why? Because as I said he is the agent of the Zionist Illuminati.

Now that another prediction I made is coming true, let me make the next prediction.

As the US pulls its forces out of Iraq, I predict Sistani would then suddenly rise up to take over Iraq. This way, at the same time the USA under Obama can pretend to have ended the war because Obama is so "peace loving and fair", and the Shiahs can portray themselves as the enemies of the USA (they may pretend that they were waiting for the US to pull out to use this oppurtunity to take over and create an  Islamic government, which would in reality be a Rafidhi Illuminati government).

So I think the Shiahs may later pretend to have double crossed the Americans as an excuse for their helping America all these years, in order to deceive Muslims and trick us into thinking that they were against the USA all along and just pretending to help them...!
