![]() Topic: Blasphemy law in PakistanPosted: 27 April 2005 at 10:13am |

Please read and sign (if you agree) the following petition. Peace. Kisan. http://www.petitiononline.com/VMappeal/petition.html To: President of Pakistan, Governments of the Muslims Countries, UN Commission for Human Rights Recently in Nowshera District in Pakistan, a man named Ashiq Nabi (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/4466341.stm), was brutally murdered for the unproven allegation of blasphemy by an angry mob following a rumor that he had damaged a copy of the Qur’an deliberately. As the rumor spread rapidly, a 400-plus village mob chased Mr. Nabi through the fields, who finally sought refuge up on a tree where he was shot dead by someone in the mob. This is one of many frequent cases of murder for those accused of blasphemy in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Sincerely, |

Everyone knows how a minority is treated in a muslim land, and these muslims want freedom everywhere...lol
They kill so many innocents and tell that it is jihad. |

Five dalits in India were lynched by an angry mob because they were thought to have slaughtered a cow. Nice democracy. Life of an animal is more precious than human life. We -Indians and Pakistanis- are all on the on the same boat. Simply proving the other to be worse won't change the fact that we are still not that good. |

To be, or not to be: that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, Or to take arms against a sea of troubles |

Yes, I fully agree with u Aslam. Not only Indian and pakistanis, infact I believe the whole world is just like that:we first commit sins, try to hide it, not by repenting, but by accusing our partners! Jesus(peace be upon him) rightly said:Why thou lookest at the speck in your brothere's eye when there is a log in your own? |
