Sister do you see from the news that what a wonderful country we have!,Alhamdulilah

The news say that in the east side of Turkey's Christians(Mardin Suryaniis) gave an iftar dinner for Muslims over to 3700 Muslims under the azan recitation sitting an eating with them....

Yaklaşık 3 bin 60 kişiye iftar yemeği veren Mardin'de yaşayan Süryaniler, ezan sesi altında Müslümanlarla birlikte aynı sofrayı paylaştı

Mardin'de yaşayan Süryaniler tarafından Müslümanlara verilen iftar yemeğinde, hoşgörü ve barış mesajları verildi.
Yüzyıllardan beri farklı dinlerin ve dillerin bir arada hoşgörü ve barış içerisinde yaşadığı 7 bin yıllık tarihi geçmişe sahip olan Mardin'de, Süryani Metropolit Salibe Özmen ve Süryani İşadamı Tekin Alkan tarafından verilen yemek oldukça renkli görüntülere sahne oldu.

Yaklaşık 3 bin 60 kişiye iftar yemeği veren Süryaniler, ezan sesi altında Müslümanlarla birlikte aynı sofrayı paylaştı. İftar yemeğine Mardin Belediye Başkanı Metin Pamukçu, AK Parti İl Başkanı Şehmus Dinçer, Özel İdare Müdürü Sırrı Hamidi, Mardin Sanayi ve Ticaret Odası Başkanı Ali Tutaşı, ve kamu kurum müdürleri ve vatandaşlar katıldı.

İftar sonrası basın mensuplarının sorularını cevaplayan Mardin Deyrulzafaran Manastırı Metropolit'i Salibe Özmen, "Ramazan ayı herkesin ruhsal açıdan güçlenmesi için çok önemli." dedi.

Süryanilerin iftar yemeğine katılan Mardin Belediye Başkanı Metin Pamukçu ise Ramazan aylarında Süryani vatandaşları Ramazan sofrasında görmekten büyük mutluluk duyduklarını dile getirdi.

Brother, shukran jaziilan..how homesick this makes me! I plan to go home to Ankara and Istanbul as soon as I get my residency completed in Mexico and get my Visa from our consulate in Mexico City!

Guess I will have to look you up too

people in America need to take lessons from Turkey to learn about religious tolerance!

people in America need to take lessons from Turkey to learn about religious tolerance!

 

I agree with you Sister,the leader of the World must be Turkey and we are working for that in every opportunity,world need peace and tolerance and only historical background including is Turkey....

When you come to Turkey do not hesitate to visit or at least let me send you some traditional gifts to your home in America...you are my sister...

 

Daniel you also too..i know you want to make a visit to Istanbul...

joining the European Union, they'll never have you, and you will do
better on your own with other alliances.

Wouldn't it be a wonderfull party if we could all meet in Istanbul in

Exactly Dear Duende,it could be wonderful if we will have a organisation like that,of course you are also invited feel free to come...then let me show you some of my pics i have picked up from Blue Mosque...have them smily...

Coming to EU i agree with you but we do not any alliances,our beauty is enough for us if we realize...
