Assalamu alaikum, This is not a letter of the alphabet, but is used at the end of feminine nouns and adjectives - it is called ta'a marbuta. It is the letter Ê but is done like this É Another "non-letter" to be aware of is 'alef lam. When 'alef Ç and lam á are together alone, they are written like this áÇ . When they occur within a word, they are written like this ÇáÓáÇã like in salam. (ha, ha, a technodummy can learn!) |
