   Assalamu Alaikum:
If everyone in the world got their own personal nuke it wouldn't change your fate one iota. As a Muslim, why would you want such a weapon? It is clearly against what the Prophet(PBUH) taught us about how we must fight a war. It destroys anything and everything. There is nothing Islamic about it.
We cannot make our Ummah stronger by creating or coveting weapons of mass destruction. Yes, Muslims must defend themselves if necessary, but they must defend themselves Islamically or they become the losers.
The Ummah is like a hand with all of the fingers going in different directions. Seperately the fingers have some strength, but all together they are very powerful. We should look within our Ummah to find our strength. It lies in our hearts, our beliefs, and our unity. Look what happened when Muslims joined together to boycott the Danish. In solidarity we became a powerful force. We didn't use weapons, just conviction speaking with one voice.

	Similarly, it is also a fundamental teaching by the Buddhist not to own anything lethal that can eventually destroy yourself and family.
