Assalamu Alaikum!

Hi Kim,

Above article shows the outcome of simple economic concept of demand and supply, the two are inversely proportional.

But, I think, that society may still fall into much bigger trouble if that doesn't change its ways in connection with fundamental problem "female infanticide". Qur'an is very clear about the outcome of such ill-practices. May Allah guide the people of that nation.

Female infanticide occurs mostly in rural areas. Think about it. Those poor people need sons, not daughters, to support them when they grow older because in rural areas, sons are the ones bringing in the money, not daughters.

You must look at it in context. If you really want to go hard core about this, become a feminist and target the root - the inequality between men and women, that is occuring everywhere.

Why not talk about Female Genital Mutilation in Muslim countries? Those people think they are guided by Allah.

"May Allah guide the people of that nation."

Please keep your wishes to yourself. The entire population does not need to be guided by Allah. India is doing far better than many countries guided by Allah, both spiritually and materialistically. Just take a look at its record.

I dislike it when people exclusively pick on something that comes up in the news, but fail to see the problems occuring in their countries following their own religion.

brother, india has its own problems.

but dont you see, pakistan has become a problem to the world security?

7/7 and now plot to bomb US bound planes.
