ican understand that in many western companies you'd have trouble commanding respect in asian clothes.the language of clothing is different because the culture is different..in some cultures you'd look positively regal in asian shalwar kameez.. but luckily its not against muslim codes of dress to wear a trouser suit if you are a woman. you can get suits with longer jackets and /or loose wide trousers.

Be covered or wearing loose clothing does not garantee less attention. I believe if you look nice and respectful, modest whether in tightly dressed or loose clothing, you'll still get some kind of attention from a guy. I want to stress one point being covered doesn't garantee that men will not look or think about certain things, one thing about the west where some women wear little clothing or bikinis at the beach/pool actually leaves nothing to the imagination, all is revealed, men get accustomed to this and lose interest. Being covered at least leaves something to the imagination. I am sorry to say this but its true. |

I agree Hijab or not Niqab or not some men will always have the curiousity of the woman. I'm at a point now where I can care less what women wear because clothes dont make the person.

Sorry, I forgot... I wear square hijab. I take the tail, tuck one in my shirt/abaya then pin the other tail to my shoulder... |
