As Salamu Alaikum or don't betray you're Family is but is this really a valid reason to stay in a Religion to please you're Family or because you think they will be Happy if you do ? In my opinion the answer is no I try not to Offend my Family since they are Christian therefor I won't say something bad about Christianity in front of them but let me be honest if no one in my Family was Christian I would never try to defend it or care about people's feelings or not Offend to be honest the only reason why I would show any respect or love to Christianity if I ever did would only be because thats what my Family is therefor When one is a Christian they are around their Family for Christian Holidays such as Christmas and Easter since you are a Child but let me be honest if I only showed love towards Christianity or emotions towards Christianity is because thats what my Family has been and Ancestors its a Family Tradition/Family History but again my heart was never with Chistianity see ? My pont is yes there have been Christian Individuals that I can or loved/respected/admired but do I respect/admire/love Christianity/Christians as a Collective my answer is No does anyone see my point no one chooses their Family Nation or Culture or Race/Skin Color therefor it is an Accident of Birth that I and my Family Members happened to be born in a Christian Society/Christian Nation/Christian Culture
its a matter of Individuals/Collective but I believe Collectivism is more impoortant than Individualism the only Christians I only like are my Family Members and a few Close Friends that happen to be Christians I don't care about Christians/Christianity as a Collective Community/Group anyone get my point please reply ?

Myth: There's no such thing as society… only individuals and families.

Fact: Two or more people in a cooperative relationship form a society by definition.

Summary

Whenever two or more people enter any sort of cooperative relationship, the result is by definition a social group. Group survival is much more effective and efficient than individual survival, but coordinating group survival results in a need for social policy. The market is not truly a place where individuals can act freely and without constraint, because markets are social institutions, and the parameters of legal behavior on the market are set by social agreement.

Argument

"There's no such thing as society," British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher once declared. "There are individual men and women and there are families."

This remarkable statement serves as a useful litmus test for distinguishing the moderate right from the far right. If you are a conservative and agree with Ms. Thatcher, you most likely subscribe to the far right; if not, you are most likely a moderate. (The reaction of liberals to this audacious claim was predictable: many were left wondering how a great and sophisticated nation like Great Britain could elect anyone to high office without even a rudimentary understanding of sociology.) But as audacious as the claim may be, it is a common one among neo-conservatives. They believe that the concept of society is a myth, and in its place we actually have a collection of disparate individuals.

Perhaps the first important thing to note is that these are semantic games. Society is a "collection of individuals," even formally defined. It's often amusing to watch the verbal contortions that conservatives go through trying to avoid this sense of collectiveness. Instead of a society, they claim, we have a "group" of individuals, or a "collection" of individuals, or "many" individuals, or a "whole bunch of" individuals, or even Margaret Thatcher's solution to the dilemma: "individuals," plural. Yet the moment two or more individuals establish any sort of cooperative relationship with each other, the inevitable result, by definition, is a society.

To say that there is no such thing as society is demonstrably false. Humans are born in groups, raised in groups, work in groups, play in groups, defend their interests in groups, and die in groups. These groups are organized, specialized, interdependent, and greater than the sum of their parts. In fact, individuals owe their very existence to group behavior -- namely, the pair-bond, or the union of mother and father. (This is why Ms. Thatcher had to append the social group "families" to her statement.)

Christians are those who follow teachings of Jesus (pbuh).jesus said in gospel pof john ch 16 v 12-14-what I m saying to u u will not understand fully a man will come and explain to u and speak the words of lord.if u see this verse the man here is Prophet Muhammad S.A.W (pbuh) and he preached the words of lord I.e holy Quran so a person who follows Quran and authentic sayings of pprophet is a muslim, moreover if u have problem with christianity we should not abuse them because Allah says in ch 6 v 108-don't abuse the people of other religion in ignorance they will curse Allah. But we should show truth for eg ask Christians about gospel of mark ch 16 v 17-18.

Greetings NABA,

Regarding John 16:12-14

Unfortunately you are taught wrongly of this scripture.

16:13  Howbeit when he the Spirit(pneuma) of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all Truth...

from the Strong's Greek dictionary...
The greek word used in this passage of scripture is pneuma - from pneo, a current of air
figuratively, a spirit (superhuman), as an angel, demon, or (divine) as God

16:14  He shall glorify me(Yshwe) for he shall receive of mine(YHWH)

16:15  All things that the Father hath are mine(Yshwe):  therefore said I, that he(the Spirit) shall take of mine(YHWH) and shew it unto you.

Salaam and blessings,

Regarding the passage of Mark which is mentioned...

Just as with islam, some hadith are in doubt...
the passages of Mark 16:9-20 are in doubt...
they are included because they were written, but their authorship and authenticity is in doubt.  Sadly this fact, and distinction, is not clearly stated in all Bible translations, as I feel it ought to be.
But they may be either accepted or rejected.

Salaam,

But we Muslims regard Quran as the word of God which is fault free, unfortunately there r some fabricated hadeeths,so we never say all hadeeths are word of God, we say Quran is the word of God, moreover initial passages of book of genesis are also in circle of doubts, so I want toask u according to u who is he in that verse, logically it is our last prophet Muhammad S.A.W (pbuh), Allah says in ch 21 v 107 that Allah send prophet Muhammad (pbuh) as a mercy to whole mankind.

Greetings NABA,

I know you do, and I do not understand why you do.

The verse refers to the paraclete... i.e., spirit, that would be sent to the disciples of Yahshua.
Logically, this is not Muhammad, as Muhammad is not a spirit, and he was not sent to the disciples of Yahshua.

the qur'an says.....
the qur'an, which comes from the person who says, that the qur'an comes from God...
the person who says, that the quran says, that he is a prophet of God.  ???

You believe it is God who has said, but it is only the word of Muhammad that we have on this.
Where are the other witnesses?

Muhammad may have been a mercy that came to his own people during his own time, but sent by God?  I am not so sure.
Martin Luther King Jr. was a mercy that came to his people also.  Was he a prophet of God?
Abraham Lincoln was a mercy that came to the people.  Was he a prophet of God?
Ghandi and Nelson Mandela were mercies that came to their people.  Were they prophets of God?

Joseph Smith claimed to be a prophet of God.  Was he a mercy to the people?

Salaam and blessings to you,
Caringheart

Greetings NABA,

Perhaps Muhammad could not write, but he was not unlearned... he was well traveled and exposed to many cultures and many languages and manners of speech (and from a very young and impressionable age, when children are easily influenced by ideas and pick up new things easily)... unlike those who had never traveled.  So surely, those who had never left their villages, and had never known anything but their own homes and families, would find the words of Muhammad as extraordinary, having never had any outside exposure to the world.

Muhammad spoke in poetic language.  Anyone who had observed the sea, how could they not describe the waves of the sea as layers.

Salaam and blessings,
