Topic: Missed jamats and quaza salahs

Suppose I have lapsed (qaza) zuhur prayer, and missed jamat of asr prayer. It is an hour to maghrib salat. Can i offer both zuhur prayer and asr prayer i.e before maghrib prayer.

Of course you can do that.

You would want to keep two things in mind however.

1. You must pray the missed prayers in chronology, ie the dhuhr prayer before the asr prayer.
2. No other prayer is prayed after the asr prayer, till the time of maghrib has entered and one has performed that prayer.

Although, am not sure if this is a fiqh thing or all madhabs observe it this way.

You must not pray when the sun is about to set. We are told in a Hadith that this is the time the sun worshippers pray.

jazak ALLAH khairan Nausheen. Meanwhile three days back i enquired of a mullahji i guessed got to be knowledgable gave the same answer. Now things are easy. Perhaps no prayers are offered 15 mins b4 maghrib prayer.Participation in islamic forums is poor in comparison to christian forums etc

jazak ALLAH khairan Loren bhai. I came to know it is 15 mins b4 maghrib salat that you cannot offer any salat. SHUKRAN
