(Cardiff, Wales) A mother who beat her seven-year-old son to death when he failed to memorise passages from the Koran has been jailed for life, for a minimum of 17 years.

There are deviations from the accepted behavior in all areas of life, as the World is as colorful and diverese as is the human kind. It is up to our individual morality to make decisions that help us lead a meaningful existence. Hitting a child is unnecessary cruelty in all religions, it is just sad that the name of the holy book is as easily abused to make the headlines stand out.
