Assalamalecum WA rehmatullahi WA barakhatahu.in surah mulk ch 67 v 2 Allah says that he has created life and death in order to test who is eligible to go to paradise.when someone says that he believes in Allah simultaneously he meant to say that he believes in Aakhirah.the rewards and punishments we get in this world are not of the real amount.right amount will be given on the judgement day,as surah Al nisa ch 4 v 40 states that Allah is not unjust even in the least degree.Allahfiz

The purpose of creation is precisely mentioned in verse 51:56

وَ ما خلَقتُ الجِنَّ و الأنسَ ألا لِيَعبُدُونَ

And We have not created Jinn and Mankind except (for) they worship Me.

The grammatical structure of this verse very strongly emphasises that the purpose of our existence is for His worسhip alone ...

One would say subhanAllah on reflecting that simple acts of living are considered as worship - depending on our intentions behind them.

Shafaa un wa rahmatun lil mo'mineena
wa la yaziduzzalimeena illa khasara.
