Why was the first really good discussion in a long time closed?

I love your posts.
Except I do disagree with your opinion of the Bible.  In it is inspired wisdom from wherever you want to say it came.  The wisdom and Divinity of Jesus beyond that of a mere human is apparent in His words and in His deeds.
I think actually God comes to us in many ways if we are open to receiving Him.
I don't know that I would say that Mormonism and Scientology are pure bunk.  It takes a lifetime to know one's own religion let alone fully understand that of others.  I think people are always searching and all religion has mutual elements to it, borrowing from ancient wisdom which has come down through the ages.  From the beginning of time man has had a knowing that there is something greater than himself that created life.

 - not in a bad way.  I get your point.  Anything is possible.
