Hello all

I live in USA for 5 years now but from S.E.Asia.   When my parents died, I felt lonely, unmarried and after some years, I got married in USA.  Now I have never been more lonely in my life.  I feel I am on a different planet.

I am sorry to hear of your troubles.  I hope that you can find friends and support, and a way to feel fulfilled and less lonely.
I have heard it said that there is no loneliness worse than feeling lonely in a relationship.  I think we feel all our problems are at an end when we marry.  When we are alone and lonely at least we feel there is something we can do about it.  You need to have that same attitude even though you are married.  Seek things outside yourself... things that serve God.

Dear Bro.,

A Muslim should never feel " that" lonely, you could recite Quran be with Allah, learn more about Islam, join some Islamic centers, I'm sure there are many in US where you can learn more about islam and meet new Muslims and even make new friends.
