From guardian newspaper comment section few people who were spectators and witnessing themselves gave a glimpse of what inside look like:

Morning,
Anyone else find it weird that the Aquatics centre was nearly empty for the medal ceremony of the most decorated Olympian of all time?

Also, still seeing lots of empty seats at Badminton etc, not just in blocks, but all over

Looking forward to some canoeing, also congrats to women's football GB

2.
the tennis annoys me greatly as i applied for 3 separate sets of tennis tickets for various days/stages and got nothing and now i see huge swathes of empty seats at every match on centre and elsewhere. grrr

Locog have to explain this, they are not just empty corporate/olympic family seats, they're everywhere in many events.

nothing (quoting "comment #2" from Guardian Newspaper) wrote: the tennis annoys me greatly as i applied for 3 separate sets of tennis tickets for various days/stages and got nothing

Nothing, you claim that "comment #2" was written by a coward who refuses to go to the Olympics, where you want British citizens to stand around in large, unarmed, groups so that devout muslims can launch terrorist attacks and slaughter huge numbers of innocent people.   But, according to your "cut and paste", the coward who wrote comment #2 DID apply THREE TIMES to buy tickets.

How do you reconcile your claim that commenter #2 is a coward who refuses to buy tickets, when the evidence you have posted of his cowardice clearly proves the opposite???

I know now how do you see things. Because I said the people refuse to attend the site because fear - therefore in your understanding it must apply to everyone without exception? If that is the case the olympians should not be there either. And about the guy who wrote it which I copied and paste maybe a freelancer, I don't know.

I made a case right or wrong in this thread and expect healthy counter argument. So give me one, something else than the sponsor tickets which amount only 8 percent of the total. The photos provided showed more than 8 percent vacant seats.

But If you want to post just for the sake of it than I guess that's it than.

Well I don't think it's fear mongering.  It wouldn't make sense for the British to want to propagate that unnecessarily after all the investment that goes into putting on an Olympics.   They would not want to deliberately cause loss of revenues from it.
Just mho.
