A Christian says he worships one God, but he made a trinity where he includes in his worship two of God's creations: Jesus, a man of God, and Holy Spirit, a creation of God both serve God as commanded. Also some of them make idols of living beings, and they adore them and bow down to them in worship. Something they were forbidden to do in their very own book. Only Jews and Muslims, and off shoots thereof. worship the one and only God and none else. Nor they make idols of any living thing nor they bow to them as God commanded. Remember it is our actions, how we go about worshiping and serving that one God we all profess that will make the difference of being right or wrong. Also remember, according to the Bible and the Quran, there is only one mistake God has said He will never forgive, it is if we die worshiping others beside Him. You dismiss, or forget, or do not know of? ... Sikhism which worships one God. ![]() Do we not serve the same God even if we do it imperfectly? Do we not belong to the same Father even if we are sinners not meaning to sin? Do you not attribute too much to man when you think he has the ability to perfect himself on earth? Caringheart, no I did not. Read my post again please. I said " and Muslims, and off shoots thereof" If you did not know, Sikhism was based on Islamic teachings mixed with others. Do we not serve same God? That dependes how each one does it. It can be said, we all have same God, one and only Creator. But how people serve and worship is a different story depending how they do it. For example when a fire worshiper worships fire thinking that it God that he/she is worshiping, there seems to be a problem simply beause God is not fire. How that person got into doing that? Did that person has a proof that God is fire or that God has told him to do so? Same way, if a person makes a statue of say a cow or a man that lived and once walked around and start to adore it, kiss it, think of it as holy, humbling, bowing and finally praying in front of it, it is what it looks like, idol worship. Has God apporved of it? where? Has God disapproved of it, read my previous posts there are quotes. If you don't find them let me know I will post them for you again. When you worship an idol, a work of human hand, looks like any living creature or imaginary creature, it is idol worship. Even if you repeat a million times that it is not idol worship, you still will be wrong. Hasan Hasan

Hasan,
For me, the only definitive proof we have of God are the miracles, life and teaching(parables), prophesy, and crucifixion of Jesus(as documented by the Romans, who had no religious investment in the support of a 'Jesus' story). All others could easily say, and believe, they speak for God, but we have no proof of it. |

Caringheart,
we as Muslims believe the same about God, and of Jesus differing on one point above, the crucifixion of Jesus. I just will add, we both agree there is One God, God of Abraham, Moses, David, Jesus, Mohammed (pbut) and God of us All, but you have no proof that God is three in one (in a Trinity). Also you have no proof without contradiction that Jesus was god. May Allah grant this BR. Ahmed Deedat mercy and Paradise, I admire his knowledge and conviction, let us see what he says of crucifixion. Please copy and paste this in your browser. http://www.bookofsigns.org/2010/04/was-jesus-christ-pbuh-really-crucified/ Hasan Edited by honeto - 07 August 2012 at 11:44am |

Hi Hasan,
I checked out the link you shared and looked at several of the articles. I have read these things before when I began my research. What you don't know is that my quest began as a search for the truth, or untruth, of Jesus. No matter which way I turn I always come back to finding Him to be true. ![]() I can find no fault with Jesus. Edited by Caringheart - 07 August 2012 at 3:09pm |

Caringheart,
I find no fault with Jesus neither (may God's peace be upon him) no wonder. God chose him to be a teacher, a prophet. Jesus served his Lord and his purpose, he was grateful to his God and never lost trust that God is incharge always. What people attribute to him wrongfully, without proof or authority is something they will be held accountable and pay for one day. Hasan Edited by honeto - 11 August 2012 at 10:53am |
