Not sure what you are complaining about here.  The officer in question was removed from his assignment.  His career is over.  Try not to expand one officer to the entire US Military and everyone in the US.  It's poor form

Abu Tamim, your effort to depict the American army in such an unfair way will fail. Islam is not the enemy of any Western army. Islam is not the enemy of any Western country. Islamists trying to fuel dissent and hatred between the West and Muslim countries are our enemy.

Matt,
I agree that it is not the American or Western Armies, but you might agree that there are some politicians who have used these armies in recent history in a systematic way that may suggest Muslims if not Islam are the target.

Open invasions and destructions (physical and social)of Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Somalia, and Pakistan.  Undercover (through control of Military) destruction of Yaman and Egypt are just a few open examples and there is a lot of information and facts available on the net about them.
Army is just that, its the gun, the one who pulls the triger are elected officals who have agendas that might not represent the opinions of the masses. And that's where we aught to be careful and watchful.
Our politicians are not happy if there aren't 40=50 prople killed a day in these (Muslim) countries. My understanding is that one day this will come out as a systematic genocide, and it is. For the past two decades we have witenessed this on such a consistent basis that it does not make a headlines anymore, we are so used it now!
Every life is valuable, everyone's life should be protected and every person should be delievered justice, equally.

Hasan, American soldiers were killed when they defended Bosnian Muslims against Christian Serbs. American soldiers risked their lives defending innocent Libyan Muslims against their dictator. American soldiers defended themselves against the Taliban who were supporting the mass murders of 911. All of this was done after decisions made by the United Nations. The second war against Iraq is an exception. There was no clear UN mandate, so the legal base was shaky. Germany, France and other Western countries opposed it. Yet the ultimate American motive for Iraq was not about an attack on Islam. It was about oil and it was about a mass murderer called Saddam who also slaughtered Muslims in his own country.

I don't agree with every American decision or with everything the American military does, but depicting it as the enemy of Islam is wrong and it will only fuel the hatred many Muslims feel against the West.

Well said Matt.  Every effort must be made to dispel, and defuse, misinformation. Thumbs%20Up

Hearing so many murderous rampage number of times in the past few years make this statement above sound hollow. Before Islam came into the scene they made the American Indian as their invented enemies. Once the Indian were overcome they turn to the north against south. Then Germany, then Korea, Vietnam, Bosnia, Iraq, Afghanistan. In the same time they are murdering the Pakistanis on daily basis, and now turning to Yemen.

James Holmes the JOKER, a bright student with no criminal record, and growing up in good family, what is the excuse now?

Nothing, I've read your post and do not understand your English.
"Hearing so many murderous rampage number of times in the past few years"  What does this sentence mean???
"They turn to the north and the south"
What does this sentence mean???
Germany???  Certainly you aren't defending Hitler.  Since that can't be what you are doing, what do you mean?
"In the same time they are murdering the Pakistanis on daily basis"  Really, in the same time?  Is that what you mean?

I think you should spend a little more time with your posts because your English is very confusing especially if you have some point to convey.
