I cannot see anything in the bible relating to Muhammad.
All the references that people quote are dubious to say the least in my view.
Does anyone here for example believe the shoot of the root of Jesse refers to Muhammad?

Most people don't believe that, nor can any Muslim prove that the root of Jesse refers to Muhammad using the Bible or Quran.

Their only source is the Quran, which is circular reasoning at best, that doesn't count. Even the Jews, of all people never questioned Jesus lineage. They knew Mary to be Jesus mother and Joseph to be his step-father just as the Quran acknowledges.

You know what I find most interesting? Ishmael or his twelve sons NEVER mentioned any prophet let alone a prophet named Muhammad, anyone care to explain why?

In any case let us see if any Muslim can answer these questions.

Many Christians believe that Bible contain all major world events even those yet to come. Prophet Mohammed's (pbuh) coming caused one of the biggest changes people saw on the face of the earth. There is nothing mentioned of him or Islam in the Bible? Come on, I think its a challenge to my Christian friends claim that the Bible contain information about major events that took place and those that are yet to come.

Did they know? That is the mind blowing challenge Muslims have not Christians.

Why didn't his own so called brothers mentioned or even acknowledge Muhammad as a messenger, yet you expect Chirstians to believe that Jesus or the Bible mentioned him, really?

Kish read the question: I am simply asking, for those of you who claim Bible to contain prophecies about world events. Islam has one of the greatest impression on mankind for 1400 years to this day as according to a recent survay Muslim population has doubled in the USA since the sad events of 9/11 as more and more people are submiting to the worship of God and none else as taught in Islam. Can you just point out anything in the Bible that reflects it?

Read the book - I'm sorry but there is nothing in there to convince a well-read and intelligent person.
Please tell me one or two facts that convince you, as a Muslim, that Muhammad is mentioned in the Bible.
