   I was under the impression that a minority of the Jews and Christians have always claimed Muslims worship moon god, however, a little back-tracking suggest Pastor Robert Morey in his 1992 book The Islamic Invasion to have 'invented' this theory, and thereby lobbed up by all kinds of 

islamophobes and anti-islamic sites.

Anyone know if this theory even existed before 1992? Literary interest, thank you.
