Salaam all

I started reading a book with various Quranic stories, which is quite interesting, but it brings up some questions.
The book supplies Quranic references, but when reading these it does not supply the intricate details as in the story (for instance that they were born at different times, but each one with a twin sister), so I'm wondering where they got the additional info from.

Still no "bites" ... this is why I'm always very scheptical about "peoples's books" (as opposed to Allah's books), will rather stick to Quran and Hadith Smile

They got the details from hadith, but in case of Habil nd Qbil hadiths contradict in information
