I really hope you can help

I'm from germany, I'm studying English here at university, last semester
 I took a seminar in linguistics, now I'm to write a paper wherein I 
have to analyse the difference in politeness in e mails between native 
and non-native-speakers of English...

Is there anybody who could help me? 

I would be more than thankful..
