i would like to encourage everyone in the world to buy (if possible financially) an electric car. there are many now available and tons more soon.

I agree. But at the same time we need to intensify our efforts to generate electricity from renewable sources such as solar and wind. It is better to drive a fuel-efficient diesel car than an electric car which runs on electricity generated by a coal-fired power plant.

This is great idea! I hope people will move to electric vehicles very soon. One reason why I wish it is: less noise in the cities. Like London it is too noisy there from transport - especially from motorbikes.

Great idea, but we should also consider reducing our need to travel. So instead of making 3 trips to the shop for thing we forgot, make that 1 trip. Why? because the power to charge up the car will still produce emissions.
