Music in Islam is a controversial issue, some say yes and others say no.
There is an array of interpretations to events that took place in the days of the Prophet Mohammed (SAW) in regards to music & singing.
There are many questions that need answers, and for the benefit of dialogue, the debate is posing many of them for discussion.
So what is permissible, and what is not?
There is a growing variety of music under the banner of Islamic Nasheeds; including Rap, Country, Rai, Qawwali and Hip Pop. So what are the limits?
