.... There are many verses in the Quran that explains who is Allah especially in the Surah Al-Ikhlas -
Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem Qul Huw-Allahu Ahad Allah-us-Samad Lam yalid wl lam yulad Wa lam yakul lahu kufuwan ahad In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.

Assalammualaikum
If people said that Allah can use all others religious they must think the impact on next generation, do we want they confused which Allah we worship?.Yes this is undisputetable originally they worship Allah however since deny Allah is one and said that Jesus is Allah's son, no more Allah is Ahad. Many Muslim now days not really attached with their Khaliq (Creature) we need to keep what we have today to ensure our next generation still believe that Allah is one and And there is none comparable unto Him.. Since other religions deny that Allah is one they cannot use the word of Allah, Allah already emphasize in surah Al-Ikhlas that Allah is one. This is one of fitnah to make dispute among us. |

Wa'alaikum slaam Ana Muslimah, With all due respect sister - saying that if we let non-muslims use the word "Allah" it will confuse our next generation does not make sense. In many countries people use the same word for God, in thier local language and don't get confused. Its just a matter of language. Only the non-muslims living in muslim majority areas will use Allah - since they share similar culture and language. Whereas a non-muslim living in the UK or US will not. Our generations will not get confused. . . Christians call Jesus with the same name we call him in Islam - though they consider him god, nauzibillah. There has been no confusion so far. Muslims consider Jesus a Prophet using the same name, whereas Christians consider him god. In English - many non-arabic speaking Muslims refer to Allah as God - yet they don't confuse it with other religion's gods... In Pakistan, Christians and Muslims refer to "God" with the same terminology, since the language/culture is same. Pakistani Christians will also refer to God as "Allah" or "Khuda" interchangeably, yet there has been no confusion. Malaysia is a multi-cultural and multi-religious society. Malaysian Muslims have a very good opportunity to represent Islam to non-muslims in a good-light, since the non-Muslim Malaysians have the chance to see the Muslim society upclose and personal . . . . If the Malay Muslims continue to behave like this and politicize everything, trying to alienate the non-muslim citizens - it does not reflect positively on Islam. Islam is "inclusive" not "exclusive". Its time that the society and government actually "implement" the concept of "1 Malaysia" - not just talk about it. Hope I did not offend you - my apologies if I did. - Sister in Islam. |
