Am a little confused...

Are there two questions or one???Please don't mind my silliness.

.but am serious though.

The place I would say is the Ka'bah..just aguess that readily comes to mind..

Next question :

Which is the place on the earth when prostrations are allowed all the 24 hours. {There are certain times during the day, wherein we are not allowed not to prostrate, generally}

The answer to the question above was Ka'bah as answered by sis Sakeenah

I guess brother Duane is on his journey to Hajj.

"And wish not for the things in which Allah has made some of you to excel others"

What was the context of this ayah from surah Nisa : 32

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “All the descendants of Adam are sinners, and the best of sinners are those who repent."

JazakAllahu khayr brother.

Also shall i add a hadith :

Imam Ahmad recorded that Umm Salamah said, "O Messenger of Allah! Men go to battle, but we do not go to battle, and we earn one-half of the inheritance ---

This ayah is so spl to me, because i was very restless and was even discussing it that why are we women in Islam not given a chance to be a martyr and enjoy those benefits. Within a week, i was reflected by this ayah !!

32. And wish not for the things in which Allah has made some of you to excel others. For men there is reward for what they have earned, (and likewise) for women there is reward for what they have earned, and ask Allah of His bounty. Surely, Allah is Ever All-Knower of everything.

After reading its context and then again this ayah, and wish not for other things in which Allah has made of you excel others ---- I simply humbled myselves. I can't express my feelings and reflection of this verse over me. Am very grateful to Allah swt !

Qur'an is a living miracle.

May Allah swt always guide us and steadfast us in deen Ameen

When Zakariyya saw that Allah provided sustenance for Maryam by giving her the fruits of winter in summer and the fruits of summer in winter, he was eager to have a child of his own. By then, Zakariyya had become an old man, his bones feeble and his head full of gray hair. His wife was an old women who was barren. Yet, he still supplicated to Allah and called Him in secret

What do we learn from the above lines ?
