Some people used to say that the reason why Khalid Bin Waleed did not get martyred in battle was because of the title Prophet Muhammad gave him i.e. 'Sword of Allah' - because the 'Sword of Allah' can never be broken. . .
 which is why he died a natural death. |

Alhamdullilah, we are in Part-IV, JazakAllah admin, for starting up new thread. Sis Chrysallis, jazakiAllahu khayr. I did not know that earlier as why Khalid bin Waleed RA did not attain martyrdom. Its indeed very intresting to learn of Allah's hikmah. Next question {Its easy} Which is the first Islamic state ? |

As Salamu Alaikum
It was first Islamic country. Its Al-Madinah, which is our first Islamic state. I thought, we will discuss more about the city of Madinah, this week, insha Allah. When Prophet {Pbuh} entered Madinah, he left his Camel loose.All the residents of Madinah, wished to host Prophet. Who got this oppurtunity to host Prophet {Pbuh} |

I read in the book "The Sealed Nectar" that it was Abu Ayyub Al Ansari. I looked in the hadith but could not find it.

JazakAllah Br. Duane. Yes, we get to read in the books of seerah, as well as in biography of Abu Ayyub Ansari RA. Next question Who said this ? "By Allah if none can benefit on the sea except Allah then no doubt none can benefit on land except Allah" |
