I am asking you to show me where do you get that, where in those vereses or around those verses, that I have quoted say that if you sin, then follow these rules about rights of the first wife??
If you forgot , here are those quotes that I have posted before that guide a person about the right of first wife, when/if he take another:
Exodus 21:1 "These are the laws you are to set before them:...........
:10 If he marries another woman, he must not deprive the first one of her food, clothing and marital rights. Hasan Humans are now living in the time of Jesus Christ NOT Moses!

Robin,
yes, until the last of the prophets, prophet Mohammed (pbuh) was went.
After which we are now and until 'the end' are under the law of the Quran, God's final testament, according to which we must live and will be Judged.
As of the 'Old' each one lived in the time of their perspective Prophet will be Judged according to the law given for that time!

robin, do you also believe in strict monogamy? You people believe that taking the second wife is a sin. You people have odd beliefs to suit your ill desires. Religion is not for any ones personal desires.
The christians believe in the original sin being passed down to the present day people. So even a new born baby is a sinner too. I would like to know, why is he a sinner. He has not done anything yet. Why is he a sinner?
Also, the Jw's believe that Jesus gave his blood and took away the sins of people. That is a fallacy. They say Jesus is innocent and sinless. So I would like to know why a sinless innocent man was punished for the sins of others. Should not every one bear the consequences of their own sins?
It is perhaps believed that if a man and woman sleep together and have the intercourse, (they being husband and wife) they commit sin. In other words even the legal mating of families is a sin. What kind of religion is this christianity and the JW's.
I see nothing natural or rational in christianity. They have got Jesus for their purpose whom they are using as a scapegoat for their purpose. They need him for salvation. They need to kill him for their atonement. They need the entire mankind to be sinners so that Jesus can die for their forgiveness.
Also I noticed that they believe that all are sinners, even all prophets of God are sinners except Jesus. Coud there be any more biased or prejudiced people? Now they are so madly after bigamy that they forget Abraham, jacob, David and Soloman (and many more prophets) who had more than one wife. Was it a sin at that time? or it is a sin nowadays only?
When the christians do not have laws of marriage or divorce etc. then why they interfere in these things and discuss the sin in marriage or divorce etc. Edited by minuteman - 05 July 2008 at 10:51am |

robin had written:

The other christians also say that wages of sin are death. That is a general belief of the church people.
I would like to know that the result of sin is death. How could that be? If a person does not commit any sin then he will not die? Your religion (JW's and all christians) is unnatural. It is not rational.

Thenthey do not believe in repentence.I see in bible, so many times, Jesus had told people to repent. But the church fellows say "No". God cannot or will not forgive any one unless he believes in Jesus. Then the blood of Jesus will take away the sins of that person and he may thenbe forgiven.
Such a complicated formula for forgiveness takes the mankind away from God and puts other people in between the Creator God and the Creatures. Again irrational. Edited by minuteman - 05 July 2008 at 11:01am |

I too take issue that people are so focused on polygyny. That somehow the Prophets, chosen by God, would be committing such a great sin??? They are the moral leaders for many people.
And people say we are in the time of Christ so to speak.. well to my knoweldge he did not have children or marry (though some dispute this) So to be a follower you should abstain from sex??
See what is hard ot understand, and I was raised a Christian, is if Jesus is God, how can he then be his son at the same time and exist and yet be God? Its like God sent his only son, and himself. Odd.
