Al-An'am (The Cattle) # 6:17-18

وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ اللّهُ بِضُرٍّ فَلاَ كَاشِفَ لَهُ إِلاَّ هُوَ وَإِن يَمْسَسْكَ بِخَيْرٍ فَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدُيرٌ (6:17)

# 6:17 (Y. Ali) "If Allah touch thee with affliction, none can remove it but He; if He touch thee with happiness, He hath power over all things. -

وَهُوَ الْقَاهِرُ فَوْقَ عِبَادِهِ وَهُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْخَبِيرُ (6:18)

# 6:18 (Y. Ali) "He is the irresistible, (watching) from above over His worshippers; and He is the Wise, acquainted with all things."

Assalamu alaikum.

Allah says in Qur'an 18:57, "And who does more wrong than he who is reminded of the Ayat (signs, evidences, lessons) of his Lord, but turns away from them, forgetting what his hands have sent forth. Truly, We have set veils over their hearts lest they should understand this, and in their ears, deafness. And if you call them to guidance, even then they will never be guided".

At-Tauba (The Repentance)

وَمَا مَنَعَهُمْ أَن تُقْبَلَ مِنْهُمْ نَفَقَاتُهُمْ إِلاَّ أَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُواْ بِاللّهِ وَبِرَسُولِهِ وَلاَ يَأْتُونَ الصَّلاَةَ إِلاَّ وَهُمْ كُسَالَى وَلاَ يُنفِقُونَ إِلاَّ وَهُمْ كَارِهُونَ (9:54)

# 9:54 (Asad) For, only this prevents their spending from being accepted from them:they are bent on refusing to acknowledge God and His Apostle, and never pray without reluctance , and never spend [on righteous causes] without resentment.

Al-Ahzab {33:35}

Verily ! men who surrender unto Allah, and women who surrender, and men who believe and women who believe, and men who obey and women who obey, and men who speak the truth and women who speak the truth, and men who persevere (in righteousness) and women who persevere, and men who are humble and women who are humble, and men who give alms and women who give alms, and men who fast and women who fast, and men who guard their modesty and women who guard (their modesty), and men who remember Allah much and women who remember - Allah hath prepared for them forgiveness and a vast reward.

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “All the descendants of Adam are sinners, and the best of sinners are those who repent."

Ar-Rum (30:54)

اللَّهُ الَّذِى خَلَقَكُمْ مِّن ضَعْفٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِن بَعْدِ ضَعْفٍ قُوَّةٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِن بَعْدِ قُوَّةٍ ضَعْفاً
وَشَيْبَةً يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَآءُ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيمُ الْقَدِيرُ

Allâh is He Who created you in (a state of) weakness, then gave you strength after weakness, then after strength gave (you) weakness and grey hair. He creates what He wills. And it is He Who is the AllKnowing, the AllPowerful (i.e. Able to do all things). Ar-Rum (30:54)

Allah does not like that the evil should be uttered in public except by him who has been wronged. And Allah is Ever All-Hearer, All-Knower
