Asalamu aleykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh

I have question about zakat on jeweleries. My wife had jeweleries for herself 260 gram.

Later she sold all of her jeweleries for $9000. She has been wearing some of her jeweleries for the last 20 years and some it about 5 years.

Now, should she pay zakat from this money? If so, for how many years should she pay zakat?

I think the zakah receiver (in this case mosque, I floow school that mosque is a valid zakah receiver) no need to pay zakah.

Asalam aleykum yaa ayuhal muslimun

I have question about Zakat. I believe that if someone even have a year round $100 saved should pay zakat $2.50.

My question is our mosque have received charity $5000 to rebuild. From this money we paid some money to buy woods for the mosque. Now, we have $3000 left over before finishing to build the mosque. Should we pay Zakat from $3000 * 2.5% since this amount of the money kept for a year?
