Dawa for muslims - to help spread islam in china - the world next super power!! do u want a muslim super power in this world - CHINA -help to spread islam in china!
Currently, chinese-muslim population is fixed for the last 30 year in china. the christian population has grown 1000 fold - and increasing... mainly rich christian countries and charirties are spending annually 100s of billions into china to convert into christianity....
Muslims must do the same - copy our christian brothers - give china a second religious option to choose from...
Do some things similar to christians - PECEFULLY spread islam in china - print millions of chinese-koran and distribute to every village in china, build mosques and give money to poor and ask for convert to islam, build large mosque in large city to attract influntial people, hire 1000s of muslin missionary worker to go door to door, in parks, etc - to talk about islam and give out the koran -

Holy Quran is not a book of history, so it is pretty senseless to
allege that it does not have true scientific knowledge. Quran is
a book of spiritual guidance, yet it discloses some scientific
facts which were not known to humanity till 20th century.

Ask Dr. Maurice or Garry Miller, if you want to confirm this fact.

We are here trying to see whether present earthquakes and tsunamis
are leading us to end of time, as has been prophesied in the Bible and
Quran.

The 2004 tsunami was not a rare event. And neither was the one off the Japanese coast in 2011. Only Tepco thought so. Take a look at the history

The Qur'an and the Hadith does not contain true scientific knowledge. In fact, quite often it's the opposite. Drinking camel urine has no benefits. Milk is not good for people who are lactose intolerant. Full veils give women vitamin D deficiency. The list is very long.

You know what we discuss is what we have in memories, like Japan, Kashmir and --- barely new destructive earthquake in New Zealand, we don't talk about the earthquake that occurs well below the earth surface which does not concern people. But maybe they are on payroll to calm the population "Relax people this is not the thing to worry, it is just normal earth activity" after few thousand people killed and scores lost their homes? Sure the people will return to their ruins sooner or later regardless since that is where they belong. And when Christchurch was hit second time that too was nothing to add, the level activity still has not change.

Hey but you are right, if we blank out our memories life is truly sweet. If person still in tears in the cemeteries for the lost of the loved one let those scientist erase his / her memories about that lost loved one, so when it's done he / she would say: "What the hell I am doing here in the graveyard?".

         About earthquakes, a debate is useless. Because if someone proves,

We are not proving or disproving something. We are only trying to warn our brothers in Islam. Let who believes take heed and the one who does not, suffer the consequences.
Even if a chain of earthquakes is proved, many skeptics will still doubt it is part of end of time earthquakes as
prophesied in Quran and hadith.

If my memory is correct there was a tsunami hit Papua new guinea coastal areas sometimes in the 1990's, I think it was early 90's. The water landfall reached deep few kilometers inland. But nobody lived at that particular place back then, so nobody talk about it. I am sure the scientist record it.

But since Indonesian tsunami, we have experience many earthquakes in Indonesia, Haiti, South America, Italy, huge flood in Pakistan and even earthquake in Afghanistan. And barely few weeks ago there were earthquakes in Australia too. And the northern part of Australia (Queensland) were battered by storm after storm over and over. And floods after floods in New south wales. And remember the sudden activity of dormant volcano in Iceland?

I hardly recall anything from 80's and 90's except the earthquake at Kobe.

This is common knowledge. In my country alone, no
major earthquake came since 1935 earthquake of Quetta.
Now we had a major earthquake in 2005 and there have
been many jolts thereafter. And many cities came under
threat of earthquake. You can not ignore this as mere
plate movement.

The Tsunami near Indonesia is also something rare and
has happened recently.

You want to shut eyes to reality like a dove does
seeing a cat. But it does not change its fate

Schmikbob is right, Mjiqbalkhan. This has nothing to do with US media. This is about science and what scientists say. Geologists are very clear. Earthquakes have not risen in intensity and frequency. If you want to learn about geology neither the Bible nor the Quran will help you. They are religious texts, not scientific texts. And don't confuse plate tectonics with climate or weather. According to scientists, climate change makes extreme weather conditions more likely and most likely we as people have something to do with it by overusing our atmosphere.

is known for distortion of facts. Not only earthquakes have risen
in intensity and frequency but also weather conditions have
deteriorated considerably. Have you heard of worst drought
in 56 years in the USA?

Indeed no one knows the exact day of Qiamah, but holy Quran
and hadiths have made so many prophesies for our guidance.

The error in saying about the length of the USG report should not dismiss the increase earth activity report. The truth is it is so frequent lately and it is getting wide spred.

This is complete nonsense. It's completely false that until recently earthquakes happened quite rarely. Modern media technologies make it easier to spread reports of earthquakes. And modern seismographs are far more sensitive than in the past.

Neither Islamic nor Christian scholars are able to predict earthquakes. Even real scientists are struggling with this. So please, enough of this nonsense.

I don't know if you are aware of this but the USGS has not always existed and the Richter Scale did not exist until 1935.  To rely on someone's data that that there was this or that magnitude earthquake in the fifteenth century is anecdotal at best.  To predict doom based on something that has occurred since the beginning of tectonic activity is not very accurate.  All these things conspire to make these predictions of the end of the world look like the predictions of Mr Camping.

There will be conflicts and frequent earthquakes... (Al-Barzanji, Al-Isha'ah li-ashrat al-sa'ah, s.166)


As is well known, very strong earthquakes have occurred throughout the world in the last couple of years. These earthquakes, occurring with such unprecedented frequency for the first time in the world’s history strongly heralds the coming of Hz. Mahdi %28as%29.

However, until recently earthquakes happened quite rarely.

For example, according to the reports of the US Geological Survey, the number of 5.0 and stronger earthquakes that happened between 1556-1975, a span of 400 years, was only 110.


However, beginning in the year 1400 according to the Hegira calendar, these earthquakes rose in an unprecedented manner.

All these figures show that the earthquakes rose rapidly in frequency beginning in the year 1400 of the Hegira calendar (1979-1980 in Gregorian calendar).

For example, in the year 1999 alone, there were 20.832 small and big earthquake.

According to the official reports, 22.711 people died in these earthquakes.


This was foretold by Prophet Muhammad (saas) in his hadith:

There will be earthquakes in my community. Ten thousand, twenty thousand, thirty thousand people will die. [Ibn ‘Asakir, Gelecegin Tarihii 1 (History of the Future 1), Orhan Baytan, Mevsim Publishings, p. 81]

Some of the earthquakes that happened in the last thirty years are as follows:

On the 28th of July, 1976, a 7.8 earthquake shook China, killing 242,000 and injuring 164,000 people.


On the 7th of December 1988, the earthquake in Armenia killed 20.000 and left 500.000 homeless.

The Kobe earthquake of 1995 lasted only 20 seconds, but caused over 100 billion US dollars in damages.

The 7.9 earthquake in India on the 26th of January 2001, killed 30.000 and injured 166,000 people.

The 6.7 earthquake in Iran that happened on the 26th of December, 2003 killed 20.000 and injured 50.000 people.

300.000 lost their lives as a result of the tsunamis that happened after the 9.0 earthquake in Indonesia on the 26th of December, 2004.


The 7.6 earthquake in Pakistan on the 8th of October, 2005, killed 100.000 people.

The Tohoku earthquake and tsunami, which occurred on the 11th of March, 2011, killed over 15,000, injured over 5,000, and left over 8,000 still officially missing. Additionally, this catastrophe cause over 300 billion dollars in damages, making it the most expensive natural disaster recorded.

In the last 30 years, in other words, as of the year 1400 in the Hegira calendar, many other earthquakes, both small and large happened, in addition to those that have been listed here.

Many people were left homeless as a result of these earthquakes.

This is explained in one hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (saas).

The days when you can find no homes to shelter you or animals to carry you have come close. Earthquakes will demolish your houses… (Al-Barzanji, Al-Isha`ah li Ashrat as-Sa`ah, p. 146)

In addition to the Prophet Muhammad’s (saas) hadiths, there are verses in Qu'ran, mentioning the link between earthquakes and the Day of Judgment.


The name of the 99th verse in Quran is Az-Zilzal (The Earthquake).

In this surah, the heavy shaking of the earth is described, and it is said that after this earthquake the people will be risen in the Day of Judgment and give account to All-mighty Allah:

I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed satan.

When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, and the earth throws up her burdens (from within), And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- On that Day will she declare her tidings: For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration.


On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done).


Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. (Surat at-Zilzal, 1-8)
