"I found a religion that blended scientific reason with spiritual reality in a unifying faith far removed from the headlines of violence, destruction and terrorism."

- Yusuf Islam

Jesus in Christianity and Islam
One simply has to look at what Christianity has become and compare that with what might have been preached by 'Isa (AS) a.k.a. Jesus himself. There is incongruity in this odd relationship that ‘Isa (AS) has simply been metamorphosed into a new identity by Christian fathers, beginning with Paul of Tarsus, who may rightly be called the real founder of this new religion that we call Christianity today. We shall analyze only the issues concerning Christmas, baptism and historicity of Jesus and how the Qur’an describes ‘Isa (AS) – the son of Mary.
What do Muslims believe about Jesus (PBUH)?
The Islamic view of Jesus (PBUH) occupies a space between two extreme views held by the previous Abrahamic faiths 1) The Jews, who rejected Jesus (PBUH) as a Prophet of God and calling him an impostor and a false prophet. 2) The Christians on the other hand, consider him to be son of God and worship him as such. Islam considers Jesus (PBUH) to be one of the great Prophets of God and respect him as much as Abraham, Noah, Moses and Mohammad (Peace be upon all of them) This is in conformity with the Islamic point of view about the oneness of God and the oneness of Divine Guidance.
According to Jesus, Bible and Quran – What is truth?
Jesus said, “To this end was I born, and for this came I into the world, to bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth hears my voice. Pilate then said unto him, What is truth?” (John 18:37-38) Pilate’s response is a fascinating one. “What is truth?”, he says, but he does not voice the question as a genuine query – it is a rhetorical question, a statement describing reality as Pilate observes it – there is no truth, there are only constructed ideologies and practical necessities and people act based upon these and function within the social/economic/political realms generated by these constructs. Right and wrong, truth and justice exist only within the relativistic confines and context of these constructs.
Jesus and Muhammad Brothers in Faith
Joshua Evans is a former Christian Minister who has a good knowledge of the Gospels and he converted to Islam some time ago .
Prophet Jesus in the Quran by Imam Suhaib Webb
In Islam, Jesus is a Messenger of Allah (God) and the Messiah who was sent to guide the Children of Israel with a new scripture, the Gospel. The belief in Jesus (and all other messengers of God) is required in Islam, and a requirement of being a Muslim. The Quran mentions Jesus by name twenty-five times. It confirms miraculous birth of Jesus to Mary. Imam Suhaib Webb discusses briefly his life and miracles.

Jesus, Prophet of Islam
This is a best-selling study of the life of the Isa (Jesus) (AS) and the history of Unitarian and Trinitarian Christianity. It includes references to Isa (Jesus) (AS) in the Qur’an and the hadith as well as a critical study of the Gospel of Barnabas. This is an extremely well-reasearched and interesting read that has to date been translated into 5 other languages.

This book examines the signs of Prophet Jesus' (pbuh) second coming from the Islamic sources and how the signs that they provide have come true one by one. People witnessing these signs may, by God's Will, hope that his return is close. The world is also getting sociologically prepared for such a great event. The chain of events through which humanity has passed during the last two centuries has, both covertly and overtly, raised the expectation of a savior in the minds of people all over the world..
