9:8 How (can there be such a league), seeing that if they get an advantage over you, they respect not in you the ties either of kinship or of covenant? With (fair words from) their mouths they entice you, but their hearts are averse from you; and most of them are rebellious and wicked. Turkish:
9:8 Nasil olabilir ki!.. Eger size karsi galip gelirlerse size karsi ne 'akrabalik baglarini', ne de 'sözlesme hükümlerini' gözetip-tanirlar. Sizi agizlariyla hosnut kilarlar, kalbleri ise karsi koyar. Onlarin çogu fasik kimselerdir.

9:8 Comment donc! Quand ils triomphent de vous, ils ne respectent à votre égard, ni parenté ni pacte conclu. Ils vous satisfont de leurs bouches, tandis que leurs coeurs se refusent; et la plupart d'entre eux sont des pervers.

9:8 Wie? Würden sie doch, wenn sie über euch obsiegten, weder ein Verwandtschaftsband noch einen Vertrag gegen euch achten! Sie würden euch mit dem Munde gefällig sein, indes ihre Herzen sich weigerten; und die meisten von ihnen sind tückisch.
