9:70 Hath not the story reached them of those before them?- the People of Noah, and 'Ad, and Thamud; the People of Abraham, the men of Midian, and the cities overthrown. To them came their apostles with clear signs. It is not Allah Who wrongs them, but they wrong their own souls. Turkish:
9:70 Onlara, kendilerinden öncekilerin; Nuh, Ad, Semud kavminin, Ibrahim kavminin, Medyen ahalisinin ve yerle bir olan sehirlerin haberi gelmedi mi? Onlara resulleri apaçik deliller getirmislerdi. Demek ki Allah, onlara zulmediyor degildi, ama onlar kendi nefislerine zulmediyorlardi.
French:
9:70 Est-ce que ne leur est pas parvenue l'histoire de ceux qui les ont précédés: le peuple de Noé, des Aad, des Tamud, d'Abraham, des gens de Madyan, et des Villes renversées ? Leurs messagers leur avaient apporté des preuves évidentes. Ce ne fut pas Allah qui leur fit du tort, mais ils se firent du tort ŕ eux-męmes.
German:
9:70 Hat sie nicht die Kunde erreicht von denen, die vor ihnen waren - vom Volke Noahs, und Ads, und Thamüds, und vom Volke Abrahams, und den Bewohnern Midians und der umgestürzten Städte? Ihre Gesandten kamen zu ihnen mit deutlichen Zeichen. Allah also wollte ihnen kein Unrecht tun, doch sie taten sich selber Unrecht.

9:70 żNo se han enterado de lo que pasó a quienes les precedieron: el pueblo de Noé, los aditas, los tamudeos, el pueblo de Abraham, los madianitas y los de las vueltas de arriba abajo? Sus enviados vinieron a ellos con las pruebas claras. No fue Alá quien fue injusto con ellos, sino que ellos lo fueron consigo mismos.
