5:77 Say: "O people of the Book! exceed not in your religion the bounds (of what is proper), trespassing beyond the truth, nor follow the vain desires of people who went wrong in times gone by,- who misled many, and strayed (themselves) from the even way. Turkish:
5:77 De ki: "Ey kitap Ehli, haksiz yere dininiz konusunda asiri gitmeyin ve daha önce sapmis, birçogunu saptirmis ve dümdüz yoldan kaymis bir toplulugun heva (istek ve tutku)larina uymayin."
French:
5:77 Dis: "O gens du Livre, n'exagérez pas en votre religion, s'opposant à la vérité. Ne suivez pas les passions des gens qui se sont égarés avant cela, qui ont égaré beaucoup de monde et qui se sont égarés du chemin droit.
German:
5:77 Sprich: "O Volk der Schrift, übertreibt nicht zu Unrecht in eurem Glauben und folget nicht den bösen Neigungen von Leuten, die schon vordem irregingen und viele irregeführt haben und weit abgeirrt sind vom rechten Weg."
Spanish:
5:77 Di: "¡Gente de la Escritura ! No exageréis en vuestra religión profesando algo diferente de la Verdad y no sigáis las pasiones de una gente que ya antes se extravió, extravió a muchos y se apartó del recto camino".
