3:44 This is part of the tidings of the things unseen, which We reveal unto thee (O Messenger.) by inspiration: Thou wast not with them when they cast lots with arrows, as to which of them should be charged with the care of Mary: Nor wast thou with them when they disputed (the point). Turkish:
3:44 Bunlar, gayb haberlerindendir; bunlari sana vahyediyoruz. Onlardan hangisi Meryem'i sorumluluguna alacak diye kalemleriyle kur'a atarlarken sen yanlarinda degildin; çekisirlerken de yanlarinda degildin.
French:
3:44 - Ce sont là des nouvelles de l'Inconnaissable que Nous te révélons. Car tu n'étais pas là lorsqu'ils jetaient leurs calames pour décider qui se chargerait de Marie! Tu n'étais pas là non plus lorsqu'ils se disputaient.
German:
3:44 Dies ist eine der Verkündigungen des Ungesehenen, die Wir dir offenbaren. Du warst nicht unter ihnen, als sie [losend] ihre Pfeile warfen, wer von ihnen Marias Pfleger sein solle, noch warst du unter ihnen, als sie miteinander stritten.
