3:159 It is part of the Mercy of Allah that thou dost deal gently with them Wert thou severe or harsh-hearted, they would have broken away from about thee: so pass over (their faults), and ask for (Allah's) forgiveness for them; and consult them in affairs (of moment). Then, when thou hast taken a decision put thy trust in Allah. For Allah loves those who put their trust (in Him). Turkish:
3:159 Allah'tan bir rahmet dolayisiyla, onlara yumusak davrandin. Eger kaba, kati yürekli olsaydin onlar çevrenden dagilir giderlerdi. Öyleyse onlari bagisla, onlar için bagislanma dile ve is konusunda onlarla müsavere et. Eger azmedersen artik Allah'a tevekkül et. Süphesiz Allah, tevekkül edenleri sever.
French:
3:159 C'est par quelque miséricorde de la part d'Allah que tu (Muhammad) as été si doux envers eux! Mais si tu étais rude, au coeur dur, ils se seraient enfuis de ton entourage. Pardonne-leur donc, et implore pour eux le pardon (d'Allah). Et consulte-les ŕ propos des affaires; puis une fois que tu t'es décidé, confie-toi donc ŕ Allah, Allah aime, en vérité, ceux qui Lui font confiance.
German:
3:159 Es geschieht um Allahs Barmherzigkeit willen, daß du zu ihnen milde bist; und wärest du schroff, hartherzig gewesen, sie wären gewiß rings um dich zerstoben. So verzeih ihnen und erbitte Vergebung für sie; und ziehe sie zu Rate in Sachen der Verwaltung; wenn du aber dich entschieden hast, dann setze dein Vertrauen auf Allah. Allah liebt die Vertrauenden.
Spanish:
3:159 Por una misericordia venida de Alá, has sido suave con ellos. Si hubieras sido áspero y duro de corazón, se habrían escapado de ti. ˇPerdónales, pues, y pide el perdón de Alá en su favor y consúltales sobre el asunto! Pero, cuando hayas tomado una decisión. confía en Alá. Alá ama a los que confían en Él.
