24:53 They swear their strongest oaths by Allah that, if only thou wouldst command them, they would leave (their homes). Say: "Swear ye not; Obedience is (more) reasonable; verily, Allah is well acquainted with all that ye do." Turkish:
24:53 Yeminlerinin olanca gücüyle Allah'a and içtiler; eger sen onlara emredersen (savasa) çikacaklar diye. De ki: "And içmeyin, bu bilinen (örf üzere) bir itaattir. Allah, yaptiklarinizdan haberdardir."
French:
24:53 Et ils jurent par Allah en serments solennels que si tu le leur ordonnais, ils sortiraient à coup sûr (au combat). Dis: "Ne jurez donc pas. [Votre] obéissance [verbale] est bien connue. Allah est Parfaitement Connaisseur de ce que vous faites".
German:
24:53 Sie schwören bei Allah ihre feierlichsten Eide, sie würden, wenn du es ihnen befiehlst, gewißlich ausziehen. Sprich: "Schwört nicht! Geziemender Gehorsam!" Wahrlich, Allah ist wohl kundig dessen, was ihr tut.
