10:24 The likeness of the life of the present is as the rain which We send down from the skies: by its mingling arises the produce of the earth- which provides food for men and animals: (It grows) till the earth is clad with its golden ornaments and is decked out (in beauty): the people to whom it belongs think they have all powers of disposal over it: There reaches it Our command by night or by day, and We make it like a harvest clean-mown, as if it had not flourished only the day before! thus do We explain the Signs in detail for those who reflect. 10:24 Dünya hayatinin örnegi, ancak gökten indirdigimiz, onunla insanlarin ve hayvanlarin yedigi yeryüzünün bitkisi karismis olan bir su gibidir. Öyle ki yer, güzelligini takinip süslendigi ve ahalisi gerçekten ona güç yetirdiklerini sanmislarken (iste tam bu sirada) gece veya gündüz ona emrimiz gelmistir de, dün sanki hiç bir zenginligi yokmus gibi, onu kökünden biçilip atilmis bir durumda kilmisiz. Düsünen bir topluluk için biz ayetleri böyle birer birer açiklariz.

10:24 La vie présente est comparable à une eau que Nous faisons descendre du ciel et qui se mélange à la végétation de la terre dont se nourrissent les hommes et les bêtes. Puis lorsque la terre prend sa parure et s'embellit, et que ses habitants pensent qu'elles est à leur entière disposition, Notre Ordre lui vient, de nuit ou de jour, c'est alors que Nous la rendrons toute moissonnée, comme si elle n'avait pas été florissante la veille. Ainsi exposons-Nous les preuves pour des gens qui réfléchissent.
German:
10:24 Das Gleichnis des irdischen Lebens ist nur wie das Wasser, das Wir herabsenden aus den Wolken; dann vermischen sich damit die Gewächse der Erde, davon Mensch und Vieh sich nähren, bis daß - wenn die Erde ihren Schmuck empfängt und schön geputzt erscheint und ihre Bewohner glauben, sie hätten Macht über sie - zu ihr kommt Unser Befehl in der Nacht oder am Tag und Wir sie zu einem niedergemähten Acker machen, als habe sie nicht gediehen am Tag zuvor. Also machen Wir die Zeichen klar für ein Volk, das nachzudenken vermag.

10:24 La vida de acá es como agua que hacemos bajar del cielo. Las plantas de la tierra se empapan de ella y alimentan a los hombres y a los rebaños, hasta que, cuando la tierra se ha adornado y engalanado, y creen los hombres que ya la dominan, llega a ella Nuestra orden, de noche o de día, y la dejamos cual rastrojo, como si, la víspera, no hubiera estado floreciente. Así explicamos los signos a gente que reflexiona.
