Ramadan 1418 AH Friday Sermons

Important: 1997 was a special year because it saw the start of Ramadan twice: Friday, January 10, 1997 and Wednesday, December 31, 1997.  These dates corresponded to 1417AH and 1418AH of the Islamic calendar.  This is possible because the Islamic calendar is based on a lunar year while the Gregorian calendar is solar and is 11 days longer.  In the lectures below, please note which Islamic year you are listening to in order to avoid confusion regarding the dates of the lectures.
